When is rains is pours… It just happens some times that way.  For those on the east coast you are really getting blasted with snow and we are really getting blasted in a number of other ways, but it is not all bad.

We have been having a wonderful time with our Discipleship Training School (DTS).  We have 23 students from all over the world (Canada, Sweden, England, South Korea, Brazil, and Congo).  We had a wonderful time these last few months as our students have been growing in their foundation in the Bible, who God is, and getting prepared to go to the nations on outreach.

For Christmas this year we gathered together as a DTS and went to the far end of the island to celebrate Christmas and finish our preparation for outreach.  We had a wonderful time as we cooked all of our own meals, had some time to play, and work on preparation for outreach (testimonies, preaching, singing, dramas, etc).

We will be sending one team to Uganda and South Sudan, another team to South Asia (for security I will not mention country now), and one more team to Thailand and another bordering country.  We are very excited as we prepare to share Jesus with so many that have never heard!  Again this year we will be leaving one of our team leaders on outreach as he will be staying long-term to establish ministry in a place that has very few missionaries at all.

As we were finishing up our time at the other end of the island, Brooke ended up spraining her ankle.  Yuck!  It is one thing to sprain your ankle and other thing to sprain your ankle and be pregnant and home school three children.  The ankle has been healing up but it is not fully there yet.

Brooke has also had some pain in her mouth on and off for a while and well the pain intensified quite a bit a couple of days ago and yesterday had to endure a root canal.  And again a root canal is one thing but to be pregnant and have one is quite a bit worse as she can hardly take any pain medication.

The rest of the storm will take place this weekend.  I (Cory) will take off to South Asia and South East Asia on Sunday Morning.  I will be going to visit the teams we have sent and ministering with them.  The reports that we have gotten from the teams are amazing so far.  They have handed out hundreds of Bibles and have seen many people healed as they have prayed for them!

All of this recent “rain” comes at a bit of hit financially.  We don’t currently have dental insurance and we have to fund some of Cory’s ministry trip as well.  Would you please consider giving towards this?  Our total need is approximately $2500.  To give please follow the instructions on the partner section of our webpage.  THANKS so much for all of your prayers and continuing to walk with us as we journey deeper into the heart of God for all His People!
